Last night was my second trip to the skate park. It is always great to see familiar faces and we definitely enjoyed ourselves. We will be back!
Time Lapse
Just wanna share a video I came across in youtube.
SBTG x Meth | Source, Beijing China
Last week in Beijing China, two of the world’s best known shoe customizers re-united for the official opening of Source in Beijing, China. SG’s very own SBTG and Methamphibian were specially invited to grace the event as well as apply their painting talents on a number of different mediums. From painting skulls, to canvas, giving interviews and last but definitely not least shoe customs exclusive to Source. Both artists are awesome and diverse in their own unique way and their different styles shine through in the different pieces of art. Jump for more pics of the event.

Day Out With Hommies
The DC Fixed Gear Bicycle
DC have gave Mark a Fixed Gear Bicycle a couple weeks back but it has not been setup till today. With the help of Jacky (SUP Clothing) and Lutfi (Killer Gerbil), the bike was fixed in no time. There were many passer-bys who commented on the bike and it was definitely an eye opener to many who have not seen anything like it.
Due to our lack of knowledge in bicycles, we were relatively confused when many “bike terms” were used. Mark was relatively pleased though when the bike was fully set up and ready for brakes installation. All in all, it was definitely an exciting day for him.
Riding a Fixed Gear Bicycle is definitely different from any other normal bicycles!

Nike’s 2010 Line Up
In a surprising move by Nike SB, they offer an ‘official preview’ of their 2010 Spring Collection. This should have been done a long time ago and it’s also a good move to squash all sorts of rumors of what might be dropping and sketchy looking pics of leaked product. Shawn Baravetto walks us through the various shoe drops explaining inspirations and colourways, while Tony Gaiotti navigates us through the extensive range of Nike SB apparel; shedding some light on materials used as well as the P-Rod inspired collection.

Flea Market Aftermath
The Flea Market is definitely a success. Despite having to brave through the extremely hot weather, we managed to gain the attention of the crowd and for them to brave through the hot weather too, they definitely mean Business. For that, we thank you for being a warrior.
Some of the highlights of the day includes our only 1-of-1 pair of Shark Attack 9 div at an offer that cannot be refused and it was an instantaneous hit to the passer bys.

The Prison Blues Low is definitely a huge lookout for fans and for one day only, it was proudly displayed and people have been inspecting the shoe for the first time up close and personal and they definitely looked impressed with the amount of detail, the colorway and how easy it is to match this pair of latest release in the Varsity Bones collection.

As the people kept coming, our Bearbricks and bearbrick tee was a sell out to collectors, non-collectors alike. Most importantly, this is a huge Thank You to all who came, to all who supported Royalefam, you all are awesome people.
We will be shifting to our new office very soon and here are some memories of what happened today at the Flea Market.

Last Moments in our shared office at Haji Lane
Since 2005, we have been sharing the studio with the good people from Phunk Studio and Stray, and since then the operations of the Royalefam has expanded. From a team of 2 back in 2005, we are now 4 men strong with room to contribute to interns and like minded fiends.
We will be moving to another location soon, to a bigger workshop where we can get down and dirty.
Here are some pics of us working in the haji lane studio.

Jamming Sessions
It has been awhile since I’ve last touched a musical instrument. This is me attempting to play Metallica on Tze Ling’s Fender Strat and Rancid’s Journey to the End Of East Bay on my brothers Epiphone Les Paul Ultra II.
